Postbank Ireland revealed on Friday that it would stop accepting new customers and wind down by the end of the year. The finance company, jointly-owned by the Irish post office and French bank BNP Paribas, and operating in about 1,000 of the country’s post offices; is to pull out of Ireland, it was revealed.
