Sebia Gets Hungary Support Over SAA

Novi Sad: The Hungarian Foreign Minister has stated that her country supports the ratification of the Stabilization and Association with Serbia.

Kinga Gonz has said that the Serbian government has at the very beginning of its work shown significant results in completion of the cooperation with the Hague Tribunal.

According to Gonz, the interim trade agreeement between the EU and Serbia should come into force immediately, and Hungary would advocate its enforcement at the meeting of Committee of Permanent Representatives of the EU countries in Brussels tomorrow.

She, however, has reminded that a unanimous decision of the EU Council of Ministers was needed to adopt the agreement. She has stated that her country “would do its best” to help Serbia’s European integration during its EU presidency in the first half of 2010.
