The Serbian Minister of Education – Zoran Loncar, DSS, yesterday walked out of an informal conference of European education ministers in Oslo.
The Minister of Education said that he did so because the Kosovo delegation had been presented as the delegation of the independent state of Kosovo, even though it was earlier announced that it would be referred to as “UNMIK-Kosovo”.
The Serbian Minister of Education said that the ministry will send a letter of protest to the organizers. The Ministers from the EU member-states, candidate states and Western Balkan countries were all invited to attend the two-day informal conference.
