Jagodina: The New Delhi will support Serbia’s call at the UN to seek the ICJ’s view on Kosovo independence, stated yesterday the India’s ambassador to Serbia.
On his visit to Jagodina on the invitation of Mayor Dragan Markoviv Palma, Ajay Swarup said, “India abides by the principles of international law and does not recognize Kosovo’s secession.”
At a joint news conference with Markovic, Swarup underlined, “India will remain true to its principles in future and at the UN General Assembly session later this year.”
The ambassador stated that Serbia and India had no problems at political level, and that “I can assure you that it will stay like that.”
