Armenian Foreign Minister Welcomes Bulgarian Ambassador

The new Ambassador of Bulgaria to Armenia, Thodor Marinov Staikov, has delivered the copies of his credentials to the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Vartan Oskanian.
Accroding to the press department of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the Armenian Foreign Minister, received the Ambassador and wished him great success in carrying out his high mission. He noted that Armenia emphasizes the necessity of close cooperation between the two countries both on bilateral level and within the frameworks of international organizations.
While indicating the present levels of the Armenian-Bulgarian relations, Oskanian revealed that Armenia take the development process of relations in positive terms and targets at enhancing relations with the Bulgaria.
Officials also said that the visit of the Bulgarian Prime Minister to Armenia in November 2007 has given new prospects to the development of the two states.
