Tina Kaidanow Could Be The First US Ambassador To Kosovo

Washington: According to the White House officials, the U.S. President George Bush is out to appoint Tina Kaidanow as the first U.S. ambassador to Kosovo.
But, the Kaidanow’s appointment is yet to be ratified by the U.S. Senate.
Kaidanow was deputy to the head of the U.S. mission at the American embassy in Sarajevo. She has been involved in diplomatic work in the region for almost a decade. In 1998 and 1999, she was the special assistant to U.S. Ambassador Christopher Hill in Skoplje, with special responsibility for Kosovo. She also spent some time working in Belgrade.
