Serbia’s EU Accession Vital For Region’s Prospect

Belgrade: Serbian Minister of Labour and Social Policy Rasim Ljajic and Austrian Minister of Defence Norbert Darabos has decided that the advancement of Serbia’s EU succession is of great significance for the region’s prospect.
Ljajic, who is also president of the National Council for Cooperation with ICTY, was grateful to Darabos for Austrian backing to Serbia in that process.
Ljajic stated that troubles which Serbia suffers are the solution of the upcoming position of Kosovo-Metohija and conclusion of collaboration with the ICTY.
Ljajic added that resolution to the Kosovo difficulty must be based on cooperation that would be acceptable to both sides in the same way.
Talking about collaboration with the Hague tribunal, the minister alleged that it has been heightened recently and that there is a clear political determination to accomplish it as soon as possible by arresting the persisting Hague indictees.
The collocutors has decided that resolution of those issues in a satisfying manner would allow Serbia to turn into head of the region and a family member of the European nations, where it belongs.
