The entire shipment of Russian humanitarian aid arrived in Kosovo-Metohija yesterday, reported the Red Cross secretary in Kosovo-Metohija Dragisa Murganic. He said that food products arrived today and the aid was distributed to all Red Cross centres in the province.
Murganic said, the entire shipment of medical aid from Russia arrived in Kosovo a few days ago and the medical equipment and medicines have already been distributed to health establishments throughout the province.
According to Murganic, the distribution of aid to those in need should begin on May 5. Nearly 7,200 families in Kosovo-Metohija, including the northern part with collective centres, will benefit from the aid.
The Red Cross secretary said that the distribution should take two or three days until the aid arrives in 22 municipalities where centres of the Red Cross of Serbia and Kosovo-Metohija are operating.
