Westwood savors Dubai success

Sunday night, Lee Westwood, who would have enjoyed becoming European Tour number one again well into the early hours no matter how he did it, added charms to a party in Dubai, with his performance, which he thinks was best of his career. Westwood, before getting crashed outside top 250, was fourth in the world early in 2001. Westwood admitted that he did think to retire from game when he was outside the top 250.

Luckily for him, he has now resumed back to number four, and has missed out on a first major title by a shot. Westwood thinks that the best could yet be coming for him.

Though the player has ensured that he will share some secrets related to his performance if he won, he smiled and said that the secret was that there was no secret.
