Athens – A bomb exploded outside the private residence of a Socialist party politician in the center of the Greek capital Wednesday, causing damage, but no injuries, reports said.
The device was set outside the private residence and political offices of Louka Katselis, the politician in charge of economic affairs for the main opposition Socialist PASOK party.
Katselis, who shares her office with her husband, former Socialist minister Gerassimos Arsenis, is one of the main party candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections on October 4.
An unknown individual called in a warning to a local newspaper and television station 20 minutes before the detonation. (dpa)
