Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST), with headquarters in Culver City, California, is proud to announce that their therapy services are now available in the Seattle Tacoma Region.
AST provides autism therapy support and programs to families, schools, individuals and communities.

From its inception, AST served as a compassionate advocate for children and families navigating the challenges of autism. AST is guided by the principle that the best results are achieved with family focused programs and hands on parental involvement grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) overseen by highly experienced and trained clinicians. AST is passionate about its work and dedicated to its mission. This passion and dedication continues to earn AST recognition as an innovative, world-class agency with the highest level of ethics and clinical standards.

In regards to the recent move into the Washington Autism community AST’s Founder, Dr. William Frea says, “We are very excited to be serving individuals with autism and their families in the state of Washington. Our innovative treatments are grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), which is the most evidence-based approach to treating autism. We are proud to be serving the Washington autism community and to continue improving the lives of those affected by autism.”

The Seattle-Tacoma region is home to a dedicated & passionate, but under served autism support community. Julie Benoit, a former AST therapist, moved to Seattle in early 2010. Subsequent to her move Julie began working as an independent ABA therapist in the Seattle Metro region. She quickly discovered a lack of resources and qualified therapists available to individuals suffering from autism spectrum disorders. Initial research into ABA related resources showed some children’s hospitals reporting autism screening wait lists in excess of 1,500 children. As a result of this clear lack of resources AST hired Julie as their lead representative in the region. Julie is thrilled to be back on board with AST and is looking forward to establishing a more robust autism support network for the community.
