Deepak Chopra and Wayne Dyer to Speak at Public Memorial for Chopra Center Co-founder and Mind-Body Healing Pioneer Dr. David Simon this Feb. 26 at La Costa Resort

David-SimonThe Chopra Center for Wellbeing is hosting a public memorial for David Simon, M.D. this Sunday, February 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. at La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.
David Simon was the Chopra Center co-founder, a world-renowned expert in mind-body healing, and the best-selling author of more than a dozen books. The event is free and everyone is welcome to attend. Guests are asked to RSVP through the Chopra Center’s online registration page here.

Since the announcement of David Simon’s passing, there has been an outpouring of love and gratitude, as thousands of people from throughout the world have posted their memories of David on a special chopra com blog page, Remembering David. At the public memorial, which will be also be broadcast via live streaming on the Internet, the extended global Chopra Center community will be able to come together to celebrate David’s life and gifts to the world.

“David has been my friend, partner, teacher, trusted colleague, and younger brother for more than twenty years. He has touched my heart, influenced the way I think, and expanded my spirit. His wisdom, courage, and love will continue to inspire all of us for decades to come,” said Deepak Chopra.

The public memorial will include a live musical tribute by Emmy-award winning singer and songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman. Beth frequently performs at Chopra Center events, including the signature Seduction of Spirit meditation and yoga retreats created by David Simon and Deepak Chopra.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to support Glioblastoma Cancer Research at U.C. San Diego.
