The Chief of EULEX (European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo), Pieter Feith stated in Pristina yesterday that the mission would take full control of Kosovo on June 15, in line with the Ahtisaari Plan.

Feith had a meeting with Swedish Defense Minister Sten Tolgfors. He thanked the Swedish minister for supporting the EULEX office in Pristina.

Feith said that the mission was determined to implement the plan for Kosovo’s status, and to construct a democratic multi-ethnic society where human rights would be respected.

“I think that Sweden will, in future, continue to advise and support the international civil office to take full responsibility on June 15,” the EULEX Chief concluded.
