The unresolved mysteries of body have started to unfold as the research reaches advance stages. This time the secret of body’s healing process is revealed which clearly testify the usage of microsvesicles by the body, which helps in cellular communication and hence aiding in restoration of health.
Microvesicles are generally smaller in size than a normal cell and contain hereditary information such as messenger ribonucleic acid (a type of RNA found in other species).
Jason Aliotta, physician researcher at the critical care and haematology-oncology department at Rhode Island Hospital (RIH) suggest that the cellular injury caused by the various diseases causes the shedding of cells and the genetic information focuses on these small particles.
A study on Microvesicles suggests that these cells were known for over 40 years and have often been considered irrelevant, but this latest study highlights its vitality. “We are now recognizing the relevance of microvesicles – they are important mediators of cell-to-cell communication,” adds Aliotta.
