Belgrade: The DSS yesterday stated that it is ready to accept a compromise over the SAA, if a sentence stating Kosovo is an inalienable part of Serbia is inserted in it.
Branislav Ristivojevic of the Democratic Party of Serbia said, “The issue of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) could be resolved if the new national government manages to convince officials in Brussels to insert a sentence into the agreement stating that Kosovo is an integral part of Serbia.”
He added that the EU Council of Ministers had yesterday adopted a conclusion confirming Georgia’s territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.
Ristivojevic said, “Precisely that kind of conclusion could be inserted in reference to Serbia, which could constitute a compromise solution.”
