RIK Announces Official Results Of May 11 Parliamentary Elections

Belgrade: The Serbian Electoral Commission (RIK) yesterday night in Belgrade announced the final, official results of the May 11 parliamentary elections of Serbia.
According to RIK, 6,749,688 registered voters had a chance to cast their ballots in 8,784 polling stations. 4,141,176 (61.35 pct) of those turned out to vote. And 4,051,236 cast ballot papers were valid.
RIK revealed that 22 parties and coalitions, listed in order in which they appeared on the ballot papers, achieved the following results:
1. For a European Serbia – Boris Tadic (DS, G17 Plus, SPO, LSV, SDP): 1,590,200 votes (38.4 pct), 102 seats
2. The Liberal-Democratic Party (LDP) – Cedomir Jovanovic: 216,902 votes (5.24 pct), 13 seats
3. The Democratic Party of Serbia-New Serbia (DSS-NS) – Vojislav Kostunica: 480,987 votes (11.61 pct), 30 seats
4. The Serb Radical Party (SRS) – Dr. Vojislav Seselj: 1,219,436 votes (29.45 pct), 78 seats
5. The Socialist Party of Serbia-Associated Pensioners Party-United Serbia (SPS-PUPS-JS): 313,896 votes (7.58 pct), 20 seats
6. The Bosniak List for European Sandzak – Dr. Sulejman Ugljanin: 38,148 (0.92 pct), 2 seats
7. The Hungarian Coalition – Istvan Pastor: 74,874 votes (1.81 pct), 4 seats
8. The Reformist Party – Dr. Aleksandar Visnjic: 10,663 votes (0.26 pct), 0 seats
9. If It Were Up to the Village – Marjan Risticevic: 12,001 votes (0.29 pct), 0 seats
10. Movement Strentght of Serbia – Bogoljub Karic: 22,250 votes (0.54 pct), 0 seats
11. Civic Initiative of the Goranis (GIG): 5,453 votes (0.13 pct), 0 seats
12. United Vlachs of Serbia – Dr. Predrag Balasevic: 6,956 votes (0.17 pct), 0 seats
13. The Vojvodina Party – Igor Kurjacki: 4,208 votes (0.10 pct), 0 seats
14. Roma for Roma – Milos Paunkovic: 5,115 votes (0.12 pct), 0 seats
15. Montenegrin Party – Nenad Stevovic: 2,923 votes (0.07 pct), 0 seats
16. The Roma Union of Serbia – Dr. Rajko Duric: 4,732 votes (0.11pct), 0 seats
17. The Coalition of Albanians of the Presevo Valley: 16,801 votes (0.41 pct), 1 seat
18. The League of the Backa Bunjevci – Mirko Bajic: 2,023 votes (0.05 pct), 0 seats
19. My Serbia Movement – Branislav Lecic: 8,879 votes (0.21 pct), 0 seats
20. People’s Movement for Serbia – Milan Paroski: 3,795 votes (0.09 pct), 0 seats
21. The Patriotic Party of the Diospora – Zoran Milinkovic: 1,991 votes (0.05 pct), 0 seats
22. The Roma Party – Srdan Sajn: 9,103 seats (0.22 pct), 0 seats
