RIK: Pro-EU Alliance Wins 102 Seats

Belgrade: According to RIK, with 97.84 percent of votes counted, the “For a European Serbia” list will have 102 seats in the new parliament, the SRS 77, the DSS-NS 30, the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS)-Associated Pensioners’ Party (PUPS)-United Serbia (JS) coalition will have 20 seats, and the LDP 14.

The election commission reported that “For a European Serbia—Boris Tadi?“ list received 38.75 percent of votes cast, translating into 102 seats in parliament, the Serb Radical Party (SRS) received 29.22 percent (77 seats), and the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS)-New Serbia (NS) coalition 11.34 percent (30 seats).

The SPS-PUPS-JS won 7.57 percent of votes (20 seats), and the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) 5.3 percent (14 seats).

The Bosniak coalition collected 0.92 percent, giving them two seats, and the Hungarian coalition 1.86 percent, giving them four. The coalition of Presevo Valley Albanian parties received 0.39 percent of the vote, giving them one seat in the new parliament.
