Belgrade Stock Exchange Makes Strong Gains

Belgrade Stock ExchangeBelgrade: There was a significant rise in the value of both indexes for the second day in a row, reported the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BSE) yesterday. The BELEX15 closed almost 4.5 % up, while the BELEXline gained over 3 % on Friday.

Nis-based AIK Bank [AKBN] contributed the most to the turnover of RSD 793.46mn (EUR 9.5) – a significant rise compared to the start of the week. Telefonija [TLFN] shares recorded the highest growth of value in continuous trading, closing 16.7 percent up. Komercijalna Bank [KMBN] followed, as its stock ended the day 15.5 percent up.

However, Spirits and beverage maker Navip [NAVP] was the day’s biggest loser, dropping 5.8 percent of its shares’ value. Foreign investors’ share in yesterday’s trading was at 17 percent.
