Belgrade: The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strictly criticized the report by Albanian President Bamir Topi that prepossesses the matter of Kosovo-Metohija and backs independence for the region.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the report by the Albanian President that the matter of the future position of Kosovo-Metohija should be concluded as soon as possible and that Albanian institutions supports Pristina in the course of deciding the position of the province is completely offensive.
Such a report fetches Serbia’s independence and territorial truthfulness as a globally recognized country and UN associate into question, and doesn’t contribute to beefing up good neighborly dealings and much needed regional stability, concludes the statement.
