Belgrade: Serbian President and the leader of the Democrats (DS), Boris Tadic yesterday said that voters will determine whether the SAA will be annulled. Tadic was campaigning in New Belgrade when he stated that.
Speaking on the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA), Tadic said, “It will enable for the creation of 200,000 jobs, a better standard of living, better courts and healthcare, and better standards in the fight against corruption and organized crime.” He explained that the deal signed with Brussels gives Serbia opportunities to defend her territorial integrity.
Tadic characterized the May 11 elections as a milestone that will show whether “we will have all that”, or, “return to the 1990s”. He was accompanied by his coalition partners as he promoted the SAA in a campaign dubbed, “Say YES to Europe”.
