DSS Seeks “Legal Analysis” Of SAA

Belgrade: The Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) announced yesterday that it would seek a legal analysis of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA).
Spokesman of DSS that is involved in negotiations to form the next government with the Radicals (SRS) and the Socialist (SPS)-led coalition, but having differences over the association deal with the EU, Andreja Mladenovic said, “An analysis of the SAA will show the way for Serbia to find the best solution for both her state and national interests.”
Mladenovic said that the DSS viewed the agreement as “a legal issue, that should be treated as such”. He said, “In accordance with the legal analysis, we will talk to our coalition partners and will reach a compromise solution that will represent the policy of the future coalition.”
