Bozidar Delic: Signing Of SAA Was Act Of Supreme Patriotism

Belgrade: The deputy premier in the caretaker cabinet, Bozidar Delic, DS, yesterday said that the signing of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) with the EU was an act of supreme patriotism.Stumping for his party in downtown Belgrade, Delic who was the one who, together with Slovenia’s Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, signed the document in Luxembourg on Tuesday, said, besides being an act of supreme patriotism, SAA will also create more jobs for the citizens of Serbia. He said that the SAA is “not merely a piece of paper, but a better future for all of Serbia’s citizens”.
Speaking of the memorandum clinched Wednesday, Delic said, “If the SAA were not signed, Fiat would not have signed a contract on strategic partnership worth EUR 700mn a day after.”
