Serbia’s Electoral Commission (RIK) Finalizes Ballot List

Belgrade: Serbia’s Electoral Commission (RIK) has finalized the ballot list for the May 11 parliamentary elections. According to RIK, 22 parties, coalitions and movements have found place on the overall ballot list that include –
1. Coalition for a European Serbia– Boris Tadic
2. Liberal Democratic Party– Cedomir Jovanovic
3. Democratic Party of Serbia-New Serbia coalition– Vojislav Kostunica
4. Serbian Radical Party– Vojislav Seselj
5. Socialist Party of Serbia-Party of United Pensioners of Serbia-United Serbia coalition
6. Bosniak List for a European Sandzak– Sulejman Ugljanin
7. Hungarian Coalition– Istvan Pastor
8. Reformist Party– Aleksandar Visnjic
9. If It Were Up to the Village–Populist Peasant Party– Marijan Risticevic
10. Strength of Serbia Movement– Bogoljub Karic
11. Civic Initiative of the Goranis
12. United Vlachs of Serbia– Predrag Balasevic
13. Vojvodina Party– Igor Kurjacki
14. Roma for Roma ticket– Milos Paunkovic
15. Montenegrin Party– Nenad Stevovic
16. Roma Union of Serbia
17. Coalition of Albanians of the Presevo Valley
18. League of the Ba?ka Bunjevci– Mirko Bajic
19. My Serbia Movement– Branislav Lecic
20. People’s Movement for Serbia— Milan Paroski
21. Patriotic Party of the Diaspora– Zoran Milinkovic
22. Roma Party– Srdan Sajn
According to RIK’s announcement earlier this week, total 6,747,867 Serbians are eligible to vote in the parliamentary, provincial and local elections. At the same time, 51,211 expats will vote abroad. 8,427 persons who are currently serving jail prison in the country’s penitentiaries are also eligible to cast their ballots. There are total 91,639 registered voters in Kosovo.
