Belgrade: The deputy premier in the caretaker cabinet, Bozidar Delic, DS, yesterday said that the signing of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) with the EU was an act of supreme patriotism.

Belgrade: The first move for the new parliament and government will be to annul “the Tadic-Delic SAA signature”, announced the Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, DSS, yesterday.

Tomislav Nikolic, the deputy party leader called on Prime Minister Vojislav Koctunica’s Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) to join him in this initiative.

The latest Strategic Marketing Agency survey poll has revealed that a large majority of Serbian citizens support the signing of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) with the European Union. The agency has found that 66 percent of citizens support the signing of the SAA, while 21 percent are against it.

There is a strong reaction against the signing of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) with in the Serbian Government, which looks divided on the issue.
