Roderick Moore, the U.S. Ambassador in Podgorica yesterday called on Montenegro to recognize Kosovo’s unilateral independence. Moore stated that he expected Podgorica to bear in mind the fact that the vast majority of EU and NATO member states had recognized Kosovo’s unilateral independence declaration when taking its own decision on recognition.

The Democratic Party (DS) yesterday warned Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) leader Vojislav Kostunica against handing over Serbia to radicals. The DS stated that it will be “dangerous” if Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) leader Vojislav Kostunica “hands” Belgrade to the Radicals.

Vrbas: Giving setback to the Democratic Party, The Serb Radical Party (SRS), the Socialists, and the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) have signed a coalition agreement in Vrbas. The coalition agreement was signed by the presidents of the three parties’ respective municipal committees— Igor Becic, Jovan Miljanic and Miroslav Aleksic.
